See clearly.
Lead wisely.
Grow
together.

George Markey listening during a one-to-one conversation

Your business is growing. Can leadership grow with it?

You have good people around you. Yet important decisions, direction and follow-through may still depend on you bringing the whole picture together. Handing off more tasks does not always create the ownership you hoped for.

I work with founders and leadership teams to see what is happening, clarify responsibilities, address difficult questions, and turn insight into practical steps. The aim is a team increasingly able to think, decide and lead together, while you have room for the contribution that is yours to make.

Making sense of life across cultures, together

Making Sense of the Season: four 90-minute sessions · $1,800 per family.

Has your family moved countries, but some of what you experienced still needs space? I help globally mobile families, including returning missionary families, hear one another’s stories, make room for grief, recognize what they’ve learned, and find their next steps together.

Start with a free 30-minute conversation to explore your situation and whether coaching together could help. There’s no pressure to commit.

Make space to see clearly.
Choose a next step that is yours.

Thoughtful questions, honest conversation and a wider perspective can help you understand your situation and decide what to do next.

George Markey

I am a coach, missionary, husband and father of six. My work has grown through life across cultures, leadership, family and the experience of helping people navigate change together.

I listen for the connections between people, responsibilities and the situations they are part of. I work with founders and teams, families navigating life across cultures, and people facing important decisions or difficult conversations.

My hope is that you leave with greater clarity, hope and capacity to take your own next steps. Good coaching strengthens your ability to see, choose and act for yourself.

You can accomplish your dreams.

You already have the answers.
I help you discover them.

Transformational Coach

You might be wondering . . .

I help you identify and clarify your values and goals, figure out what is holding you back, and develop strategies and action steps to move forward. I provide a safe environment for you to explore your dreams and find the motivation to take steps to achieve them.

I’ve had clients come to me with all kinds of issues. Common themes that come up often are procrastination, dissatisfaction with work, lack of motivation, lack of confidence, and a desire to start something new.

A coach is not focused on figuring out how you got where you are, a coach helps you understand how to move forward to where you want to be. A coach doesn’t usually tell you what to do or give you advice, because a coach believes you already have the answers. The coach’s job is to help you discover those answers for yourself.

I can help you navigate life transitions, discover your calling, manage your time, start or develop a business, grow in your faith, resolve conflicts, and develop an effective team. I have also helped people get out of depression by connecting them with their identity in God and discovering their God-given passion.

If you aren’t interested in growth and change, coaching is not for you. However, if you are tired of the way things are and want help finding a new path forward, if you want to become more fulfilled or successful, or if you have dreams that you haven’t yet realized, a coach can help you reach your full potential.

You will see results after the very first session, but in order to achieve the most dramatic transformation, we find that four sessions is ideal.

“One session with George accomplished more than a whole year of therapy.”
